Ratchet & Clank is one of Insomniac Games’ flagship franchises, but the developer has its hands full for a little while. While that may prevent the studio from making a new entry in the franchise, it should not mean that the series is put on hiatus. The PS4 went by with only one Ratchet & Clank game, and right now it feels like the PS5 may follow suit. However, that could all change if another PlayStation Studios developer takes the reins for a title or two....

Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Tom Moody Sunday blamed his team’s poor defending skills for their humiliating loss against Kolkata Knight Riders in their Indian Premier League match at the Eden Gardens here. “Our defensive skills were never as sharp as they can be. For a while now, Outriders players have felt that something is off with the damage scaling in the game. Whether it’s in the way the game calculates damage, a handful of bugs working together, or something to do with enemy AI, there is a general feeling of inconsistency when it comes to damage. Even so, players were able to brute force their way through content thanks to a bug with the Emergency Stance mod that grants permanent Golem (65% damage mitigation from all sources)....
Outriders does not unveil all its mysteries, though, and it leaves room for expanding its universe. The story ties up most loose ends, and side quests expand on the world-building elements while also creating even more enigmas to solve, like the identity and the extent of the powers of the Wanderer, for example. Still, despite lore being enriched by journals, some things remain to be discovered and other stories were never told....

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office ran Operation Trade Secrets 2 over a 5-month period, and made 104 arrests, according to a press conference. Of those individuals, 76 were men purchasing sex, and 28 were women working in the sex trade. Between January and June of this year, the department ran the first part of Operation Trade Secrets, also aimed at cracking down on human trafficking. Sheriff Chad Chronister drew attention to what he described as two of the “more despicable” cases the force encountered....

A plane with 150 servicemen who terminated their contracts with Russia’s defense ministry landed in the Russian republic near the Russia-Mongolia border over the weekend, the founder of the anti-war Free Buryatia Foundation said on Saturday. Army Major General William D. “Hank” Taylor announced Friday morning that over 300 Americans were evacuated from Kabul following an explosion that killed 13 U.S. service members and a number of Afghan civilians. “In the past 24 hours, more than 300 American citizens were evacuated from Afghanistan, bringing our updated total to approximately 5,100,” Taylor told reporters during a press briefing. The humanitarian airlift mission by U.S. and allied forces was sent into chaos Thursday after a suicide bomber struck at the Hamid Karzai International Airport, killing 13 U....
The protests, which gave way to the now infamous Kyle Rittenhouse case, were sprung by a confrontation between a white police officer and Jacob Blake. The officer shot Blake during a domestic disturbance, paralyzing him from the waist down. A total of 94 charges have been filed by Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley. Among these cases were 70 felony crimes and 18 misdemeanor cases. Six cases involved juveniles....
