In a Facebook post on January 28, Currituck County Government said officers had rescued 47 adult dogs and 14 puppies from unsanitary and inhuman conditions at the Bentwood Labradors site in Moyock, North Carolina. Images accompanying the social media post showed the dogs being taken in by staff involved in the rescue. Currituck County Government said that they had partnered with Currituck Animal Shelter for the operation. According to a statement made by 505 Games, Overkill’s The Walking Dead on console “has not been cancelled”, with the company declaring that the title has been “purely postponed whilst development is on-going”. This supports a previous position held by both 505 and Starbreeze Studios that the PS4 and Xbox One versions have been delayed indefinitely, and not nixed outright. While this statement from 505 Games may provide some reassurance to fans looking forward to Overkill’s The Walking Dead on PS4 and Xbox One, it’s safe to presume that the title won’t be releasing on the two platforms any time soon....
