In celebration of Overwatch’s first year anniversary, the team at Man At Arms decided to commemorate the multiplayer shooter by taking inspiration from the historical real-life weapon, the man catcher, and crafting Roadhog’s Chain Hook using some high-quality 1050 steel. After an intense process of heating, tapering, and shaping the steel into a hook, the Man At Arms team didn’t skimp on the fine details, such as adding in little things like engraved spikes that feature the letters “HOG”....

According to Kaplan, Tracer was the first hero “implemented” into Overwatch, but early on her attack options were slightly different from the fast-moving, dual-wielding hero that players have come to know and love. Early on, as Kaplan reveals, Tracer shot lasers from her eyes because the Blizzard team had yet to add gun or animation models yet. Obviously, Kaplan is not suggesting that Tracer was originally some sort of superpowered hero, but is speaking to the limitations of early development on Overwatch....

It’s likely that details on the Ubisoft Star Wars game won’t be coming for awhile, but the appearance of a new studio in the mix opens up a lot of possibilities. EA had a hold of the franchise for a long time, and if the move to tap Ubisoft is any indication, Disney and Lucasfilm Games probably want some fresh ideas. If there’s really a strong desire to branch out to other studios, there’s a handful of different candidates that could be perfect for a new Star Wars game....

Square Enix and People Can Fly’s highly anticipated looter-shooter has been in development since 2015. Originally scheduled for a December 2020 launch, Outriders delayed its release date to February 2021, before ultimately settling on April 1 due to impacts caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However, the silver lining behind the second delay was the announcement of the Outriders demo, the details of which have been scarce up until today....

During a press conference on Wednesday, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) confirmed that it had recovered at least 157 runaway and missing juveniles as part of a search called “Operation Carolina Homecoming.” The department said that its Missing Persons Unit had recovered more than 130 children in the first four months of the year, according to the Charlotte Observer, before finding an additional 27 between April 26 and May 7....
