Available starting today at a special launch price of $36.37, Overcooked 2: Gourmet Edition can be purchased for PS4, Switch, or Xbox One. Unfortunately, those playing on PC will have to wait until April 16 to get their hands on the game. Those that do decide to pick it up have quite a bit of content to play through, however.

Overcooked 2: Gourmet Edition comes with the Surf ’n’ Turf, Campfire Cook Off, Night of the Hangry Horde, and Carnival of Chaos expansions. Each Overcooked 2 expansion introduces new recipes for players to cook, along with brand new gameplay features and mechanics to help keep things fresh.

On top of this, Overcooked 2: Gourmet Edition includes 58 playable chefs. Players can also play local co-op or online, with the option to combine local and online co-op. As pointed out in our Overcooked 2 review, it wasn’t possible to combine local and online multiplayer in the game at launch, which just goes to show how much the game has improved since 2018.

It’s unclear if the release of Overcooked 2: Gourmet Edition means Ghost Town Games won’t be releasing more Overcooked 2 DLC. But it will be interesting to see what comes next from the studio regardless.

Overcooked 2: Gourmet Edition is out now for PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with a PC release date of April 16.
